Position the Patch:

Place the patch on the desired area. If you want it to be temporary, you can pin it in place or use a little fabric glue to hold it.

Cover the Patch:

To protect the patch and fabric, place a clean cloth or parchment paper over the patch. This prevents any direct heat from damaging the patch or the fabric.

Set Your Iron:

Preheat your iron to the appropriate temperature for the fabric. Usually, a medium setting (without steam) works well. If you’re unsure, refer to the fabric care label.

Apply the Iron:

Press the iron down firmly on the patch for about 20-30 seconds. Avoid moving the iron around; just hold it in place to ensure even heat distribution.

Check the Patch:

After 20-30 seconds, lift the iron and check if the patch is secure. If the edges are still lifting, apply the iron for an additional 10-15 seconds.
